THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER
From coastal California to upstate New York, a killer is plotting a devastating path of destruction . . .
Michael and Megan Fitzgerald are siblings who share a troubling past. Both adopted, and now adults - Michael is a long-haul truck driver, Megan a college student majoring in psychology - they trust each other before anyone else. They've had to.
When a young woman is found murdered in Michael's LA apartment, he is the chief suspect and quickly arrested. But then there's another killing that is strikingly similar. And another. And not just in LA - as the spree spreads across the country, the FBI become involved in a manhunt for a cold-blooded serial killer.
Racing against time, the LAPD and FBI desperately search for a way to prevent a string of murders that seems unstoppable.

A thrilling rollercoaster ride!
Since starting my blog last year, I haven’t read a lot from James Patterson as regularly as I used to, apart from The Women’s Murder Club series. I had such an obsession with his books and was always the first in line to buy them on their release day, but I have been so engrossed in discovering new authors, that my TBR of James’ books have been piling up, so I thought it was about time to dive back in!
When the opportunity presented itself to read an advanced copy of The Coast-to-Coast Murders, I jumped at the chance and it was the perfect book to reacquaint myself with James Patterson’s work again. Collaborating this time around with J.D Barker, the authors have crafted a plot that is full of action and suspense and one that will have you on the edge of you seat throughout!
The authors have done a great job with the storyline and had me completely hooked from the get go. My fingers definitely got a workout flicking those pages on my Kindle that’s for sure. I was in its clutches and was taken along for the ride. The cast of characters that have been assembled are well developed and perfect in the roles they were given to play.
What I love about books from James Patterson and his co-authors, are the short chapters. They suck you in and you find yourself just reading and reading unable to put the book down, as each ends with you wanting more! I have been spoilt by this and when I read a book that has longer chapters, I have to admit that this can frustrate me a bit, especially if the book is a slow burn.
Not having read a book from J.D Barker before, I really enjoyed this pairing and I think he is the perfect fit to write with James Patterson. Everything was so in sync between the two and it was like they were one author. I hope to read another book from them together and I will definitely be checking out J.D. Barkers other work.
All up The Coast-to-Coast Murders is an addictive read. Fast paced, action packed, with twists and turns aplenty to keep you on your toes, that all lead to a jaw dropping finale. This is one killer read and it has reignited that spark again in me to read all of James Patterson’s work. I can’t wait to go back and read what I have been missing out on!
The Coast to Coast Murders
The worst James Patterson book I have ever read, so bad I should get a refund.
I had high expectations
I really wanted to like this book, but I just didn’t. Highly disappointed to be honest.
