The Concrete River

Jack Liffey lost his job, and then his wife and daughter.



All he had left was his ability to track down missing children, so he set up as a detective specializing in kidnappings.


A woman from Mexico shows up with only a few words of English, and when he sets off to find her daughter in the frightening urban nightmare of L.A., he is sucked into a violent world of developers and local politicos. Liffey soon discovers that nothing is what it seems…before long his search becomes a fight for redemption and for life itself in a world gone mad around him.
