Isabella Stanton’s huge society wedding turns into a nightmare and all she wants to do is escape. Will Hardesty understands the feeling more than anyone. Agreeing to drive her to Seattle, Isabella and Will drive, becoming closer and more comfortable with each other but both are determined to stay friends, neither have had great experiences in the past with their relationships so decide on friendship. A detour to Will’s family ranch in Marietta, Montana has then both re-examining their lives and relationships with each other and others in their lives.
I just love these deeply emotional stories filled with large complex families and an unfolding love story against a beautiful small town backdrop.
