Spending her days on the family’s enchanted apple farm, tending her plants from seed to spell. That’s Dusty’s plan for her Crone years.

Unfortunately, plans have a way of going off course.

Word of Dusty’s justice-restoring magic has spread through Blackwood Grove, and desperate townsfolk are slipping onto the farm after dark to get her help. Ironically, her best customers are the very people who loudly proclaim witches are wicked.

Dusty has bigger concerns, though. Her four-year-old granddaughter has started acting out as the search for Cricket’s missing parents continues. With few options left, Dusty turns to her elderly aunts, whose magic is a little . . . unpredictable.

The Crones insist they’ve fixed the flaws in their revealing spell. Walls are no longer disappearing. Clothing is remaining in place. So Dusty gives them the go-ahead to begin the search.

The spell appears to be working as intended. Clues emerge. Answers seem within reach.

Then a friend from Dusty’s past shows up unannounced and brings disaster with him.
