Thought provoking

I loved this book. I’ve started reading about stoicism the last few years and try and incorporate it into my life.
This book helps in understanding what this means relating to every day.

Ryan Holiday has changed me....

I’m so many ways. I’ll be forever grateful to this man for opening my eyes. It’s not easy but so with it.

A Walk through a Stoa ,

Part of my daily morning routine

Each day of the year receives one page with a message for reflection and contemplation - and the opportunity to start one’s day in a calm and mindful manner.

Pages lead with a passage or quote by mostly well-known ancient stoics, followed up and adapted to modern life by Ryan Holliday’s commentary and modern day examples - hence made practical.

The daily practice of reading these one-pagers also puts one in the right mindset to begin one’s day. It fosters mindfulness, clarity and calmness of mind.

Highly recommended.
