The dead romantics
I know that there were a few comparisons to a certain romcom made and I totally get that, it is definitely a similar plot line. I enjoyed the movie but I think I liked this book better. As with most book vs movie comparisons you can just put more into a book. The book and this particular story just had a bit more heart.
It was sad and funny and heartbreaking all at the same time. I definitely cried in some parts. The romance was cute in a bittersweet kinda way. I loved the family and their little eccentricities and I also loved the whole funeral home/can see ghosts thing (though I wish there were more ghost interactions tbh).
Anyway, I liked it.
CN for death, funerals, grief, death of a parent and just heaps of death stuff that goes on in a funeral home.
