Publisher Description
Money can't buy a good first impression.
Seventeen-year-old Caymen Meyers learned early that the rich are not to be trusted. And after years of studying them from behind the cash register of her mom's porcelain-doll shop, she has seen nothing to prove otherwise. Enter Xander Spence—he's tall, handsome, and oozing rich. Despite his charming ways and the fact that he seems to be one of the first people who actually gets her, she's smart enough to know his interest won't last. Because if there's one thing she's learned from her mother's warnings, it's that the rich have a short attention span. But just when Xander's loyalty and attentiveness are about to convince Caymen that being rich isn't a character flaw, she finds out that money is a much bigger part of their relationship than she'd ever realized. With so many obstacles standing in their way, can she close the distance between them?
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Xander Spence and Caymen Meyers come from different worlds, but that doesn’t stop an immediate chemistry sparking between them. However, Caymen’s inherent suspicion of wealthy boys like Xander might prove to be an insurmountable obstacle to their blossoming relationship. A bright and fun “opposites attract” story from the author of teen favourite Pivot Point.

Really good read
Loved it, the characters are so good and it was refreshing to read a story that isn't over-the-top "fake" in regards to the male character and how he acts or what he says. Loved the story so much but it def needs a sequel!!!
Perfect. Inspiring
'The distance between us' was a surprising read. I expected something along the line of Abbi Glines series 'Too Far' but was pleasantly surprised. It managed to stay reasonably original, while conforming to the rules of chick flick novels everywhere. A must read. I couldn't put it down. There were enough twists and turns that it kept me interested while staying believable. Definitely one of the best books I've read this year.
Recommended for teens.
