Very engaging
I enjoyed this series very much, and it was compelling reading. The characters were well developed - the heroes were very easy to like, and the villains truly villainous. I enjoyed the way the graphic battle scenes were relieved by glimmers of humor and whimsy. Loved the dwarves, elves and fae. The only issue for me was that I noticed many grammatical glitches that I found myself silently correcting.
