The Drummerboy & the Seamstress

This is the story of a drummer boy in the French General Napoleon’s army and the tragic and gruelling retreat of the army from Moscow in the harsh Russian winter. The 13 years old hero of our story survived to marry his childhood sweetheart. This is no fantasy but it is a real adventure that real people lived through. In this story the characters are fictional. Things however do work out well in the end. Young people and older children will enjoy this and will admire our heroes and the way they stay true to each other and endure their hardships.
