The Dry Cleaner

Have you ever dreamed about creating your own famous invention…an invention so famous that it is used around the world?  Well, this “UreadUlead” selection introduces a young man who is born into slavery, somewhere in the late 1800’s, location unknown.  While growing up under the conditions of slavery he watches the chores his mother performs each day.  He refuses to allow slavery to stifle his spirit and his dreams of freedom and financial prosperity.  Please read along to see if our protagonist will conquer his circumstance, educate himself, acquire freedom, and fulfill his dream of becoming a famous inventor.
