The Dwelling, is set in a remote area of East Sussex, England, and tells the story of Annabel - a young woman who inherits a large country estate from an uncle she never knew she had. However, everything is not as wonderful as it first might seem. The Dwelling is a house that feels cold and unwelcoming - a house with hidden secrets and danger lurking behind every door. Will Annabel escape the horror, or will she be trapped forever behind the locked and bolted doors of the dwelling?

Thought this was very average.
Enthralling, but cut short.
I really enjoyed the writing style of the author within this story. I was completely captivated up until about page 90 onwards, when the tale seems to be quickly rushed into submitting to an end. I’d love to see this tale embellished into a novel as it contains some really interesting content & ideas. Definitely has the scaffolding for a really creepy, serpentine, suspense ghost story.
