Started well but continually lost momentum thru to the finish

Grisham's worst book. Reads like a non fiction book and was quite frankly pretty boring. Give it a miss.
Lost opportunity
This could have been a great book. As a sequel to one of this authors best work, the opportunity to create another masterpiece was there and the author blew it with this lazy, excuse for a story offering that hardly even makes any sense. It’s very hard to understand why he simply didn’t base it in the present instead of 7 years ago? Why not revisit things that actually made the first book a huge success? The plot is weak and anaemic at best and the characters superficial and senseless for the most part. A waste of time.
