4 star, should be 5 with a decent edit
So many typographical errors. It was completely frustrating and I cannot believe they did not get picked up in the editing stage. ‘Defensives’ instead of defenses’ ‘The box is over nearly full of various…’ ‘his warms hands on me’.
It’s such a shame because this is a five star author. I liked the two main characters, they had interesting stories and I believed them as a couple. With a proper edit this would be a five star novel.
Mary Frame is a delight.
The second in her fox family series is both fun and has some more serious overtones.
I love the flawed protagonists with trust issues.
Mary Frame always writes compellingly and I can’t wait for her next book.
