The Green Elephant (Or How to Get a Girls Attention)
Publisher Description
How do you talk to someone you've never met? Well, this is the situation that Lucas finds himself in...
Lucas gets most of his dating advice from his friends, specifically, his co-workers at Treehouse. The Treehouse Crew are like family to him and they don't hesitate to inject themselves into his personal life. Some of the advice is good, some might be pushing it, but they mean well. It's difficult to keep your head straight about it when you feel like you've got one shot...one opportunity, to make a move. But when it's with someone you don't know, how do you engage? Here's what we're going to explore...the reason for a conversation needs to make sense.
Created and written by Ary M. of DryHumour and illustrated by the wonderful QUSHUNG.
Customer Reviews
Absolutely loved it.
I loved reading this book/comic. I wish it was longer. Hopefully there is more stuff to come from the writer. He combined comedy with reality and created a fun storyline to follow. Really cool illustrations and colours used also.
Gorgeous and relatable
The composition is what sells it for me. Each page brings a new flavour with its stunning visuals, fun dialog and clever way the scenes transition and fit together.
The story may be simple and short, but that’s all it needs to be. It gives a homely feel you can relate to and reminds you of your own chaotic friendships.
I am already invested in the characters so looking forward to the next part.
Cheeky (dry) humour!
The Green Elephant was fun, funny and cheeky, with beautiful and vibrant illustration that brought the story to life.
I loved the story and the angst that goes into working out what to say to a crush the first time and all the ways it can (and does) go wrong, despite your friends’ best attempts to “help”.
I want to know what happens in the next edition!
