Publisher Description

The life and times of The Wiggles supergroup member: Greg Page
Greg Page will always be synonymous with the children's supergroup, the Wiggles, and is forever imprinted in our memory banks as the original ‛Yellow Wiggle'. Sadly, though, in 2006 Greg was forced to walk away from his stellar career, unable to continue because of a mystery illness. Leaving the Wiggles was a painful and life-altering decision. As a founding member he had devoted over fifteen years to their creation and was instrumental in their phenomenal worldwide success. It took years for Greg's condition - Orthostatic Intolerance - to be correctly diagnosed, which often saw him suffering from bouts of acute dizziness that left him unable to stand, speak or think without great difficulty. the lack of a diagnosis also left him suffering from depression; a frustrating and disillusioning experience for someone who had always led such an active life, performing on a daily basis. Now correctly diagnosed and medicated (and with a healthy dose of inspiration from Elvis), Greg is concentrating on getting back to his first love - music.

Amazingly inspiring.

Growing up with Greg Page and The Wiggles this book is just simply amazing!! I do not read books, never have and never will. I would prefer to sit and do anything else except read, but I can sit down all day and read this. I recommend this book for anyone, any age, any genre. It gives insight into many things that in a sense us kids that grew up with The Wiggles need closure on. I rate this book 10/10. Not one thing is missing and nothing could be improved. Thank you Greg.

Amazing

I have always been a fan of The Wiggles!! Been to many a concert with my children, And was shocked and saddened when seeing the news with Greg handing his yellow skivvy over to Sam Moran. I still love them, don't get me wrong, but it's just not the same.

When I saw this book in Target I mentioned to my husband that I would like to read it and hinted that my birthday was coming up. So he bought it for me as my very first eBook on our new iPad2!

I have not been able to stop reading it! I would recommend this book to anyone! It was an amazing read. To understand what Greg has been through to get a diagnosis, and a wonderful story of his personal journey has really made me sit up and rethink some aspects of where our lives are going!

There are some funny bits that had me giggling and reading excerpts out to hubby! All in all a fantastic read! For anybody - Wiggle Fan or not!! I am now off to find some of his music to listen to!!

If you happen to pop on here Greg to read these reviews....I say Thankyou! Your words have inspired me to sit up and have a good hard look at my life and what I can do to set me on my right path! A more happier and self accepted path!

A Great Read About a Great Man!

Wow! So much I could identify with in this story- a personal journey of self discovery and growth. A well written look at life in and out of The Wiggles, I highly recommend it to anyone, not just those who grew up watching Greg as the Original Yellow Wiggle!
