An excellent novella
In a similar way to Cass' first Selection novella, The Prince, The Guard rises your expectations for the final novel in the series. It engages an audience that has been waiting over a year for new material about America, Aspen and Maxon and fans will pounce on this short story. Taking place during The Elite, fans will have the opportunity for the first time to delve into the mind of America's first love, Aspen, and watch the events of the second book unfold from a different point of view. Although not as enticing as The Prince, The Guard is a great read and the sample from the final novel in the series The One is worth the money to download alone. Bring on May 5th where America must choose - Aspen or Maxon!
Excellent!
This novella is excellent. It's a great insight into the 'behind the scenes' at the palace... And it's from Aspens point if view. Double win!
