Brilliant fun
Christina Hovland always, always makes me smile, laugh and swoon. Add to her usual comedy some mystery and suspense and you have a non-stop read.
The whole cast of characters here are brilliant. Lucy and William have a history but he doesn’t remember it which brings up old hurts for her.
He’s trying to take over the family media company, Lucy has to lay low because of a crazed fan and just started working there behind the scenes.
When they’re assigned an undercover story they pose as honeymooners and the fun really starts.
There’s plenty of emotion and chemistry, sweetness and some spice, wonderful banter and romance. But that mystery/suspense is a real attention grabber, I was hooked and had to keep reading (into the wee morning hours) to get all the answers and make sure that they got their HEA.
