But when she crosses paths with them, several details arouse her curiosity, even before one half of the couple goes missing. This gripping story plays on readers’ well-trained expectations and peppers the plot with dry wit, unreliable narration and serious surprises. By the end, you won’t know whom to trust or what’s going to happen next. Started off a good story but soon became something very weird. Only finished it as I had paid for it but would not recommend reading it.
