And now I’m addicted to the high life, I can’t let it go.

Entertaining
You trust her with your house…But can you trust her with your life…”
The House Sitter is a complex and intense psychological thriller. Alternating between two stories and a series of timelines, we follow Katharine in the present day, in the aftermath of her husband, Oliver’s death.
“My world is in pieces. The man I loved gone forever. But I can’t deny that in the middle of it all, I feel the smallest glimmer of relief” -Katherine McKenna-
We also follow a female scam artist/house sitter in the past, as she travels from country to country under many aliases.
“Having left behind my hand-to-mouth existence in London. I knew this was the life I was supposed to have. And now I’d found it’ -Gemma-
I was immediately invested in this tale, especially Katharine and Oliver’s relationship as she learns things about Oliver that he was hiding, which added intrigue into his character. I was also curious to see how the two storyline’s would come together. Along the way little pieces of the puzzle started to join up as my own theories were validated, although not without some surprises which had an impact
All round The House Sitter is an entertaining read that kept me engaged throughout.
