Minneapolis Homicide Detective Megan "Meg" Brown has seen... well... enough, but this is a new one. A middle aged man found murdered inside a translucent room made of ice at a winter festival on the shore of one of the cities many frozen lakes. The suspects may be obvious. The motive may be clear. But can she lock it all up in time before outside actors get themselves a little too involved? And where will she find time to finish her christmas shopping? Will she freeze to death before she can close the case?
