The Illustrated Lilavati

In 1150 AD Bhaskaracharya wrote Lilavati - the book that served as the primer for arithmetic and geometry in India for many centuries. The word problems in Lilavati invoke bees and flowers, kings and gods to describe exercises in linear and quadratic equations, progressions, combinations and geometry. This ancient sanskrit manuscript is now presented in a graphic novel format with 106 illustrated panels.
