Romance lover
Very disappointed, I'm always hanging out for Stephanie's next cynster novel. Lacked the usual romance and steamy bedroom scenes. Need our dark , dangerous and seductive men back.
Not great. Love S.Lauren's others
Please don't give up on this author. Her other works are great. Funny, loveable characters w depth and typical male attributes that are relevant now and in regency times. This novel was a disaster. Try another.

Was seriously disappointed by Stephanie's Laurens new book. Have always been a fan of her books and have read all of them but this attempt is long winded, slow paced and too descriptive.
It did not live up to her previous sexy and tintalating stories of previous books.
The characters were likable but I could of done without all the description of all their feelings, the creak of the gate as it closed, the scenery as they crossed the country side or how the house looked as they approached.
I forced myself to finish it, as I was hoping it would pick up but alas it never did. I certainly would not recommend it for people who enjoy Stephanie Laurens of yesteryear for her writing style has completely changed and if she continues in this vein I will not be reading any more of her books.
