The Last Extinction

A National Geographic expedition to the Amazon uncovers a mythical tablet, the Wheel of Omagua. Detailed in the Wheel are six sacred animals, creatures assigned great distinction in the natural world. If any is driven to extinction, Nature will correct the imbalance. A young biologist traces the relationship between Nature and mankind in the rings of the Wheel. She recognizes that humans are the target of Nature’s omnipotent wrath and little time remains before her fury is unleashed on the encampments of man.
