This emotionally engaging pageturner made author Kathryn Hughes a self-published sensation, eventually attracting the notice of a major publisher. Once we started reading the novel, we couldn’t stop. By story’s end, we had cried serious tears. When Englishwoman Tina finds a crumpled love note in the pocket of an old jacket, she sets about to find the subject of the letter: a woman named Chrissie. As we followed the women’s parallel storylines—and the fates of their unborn children—we found ourselves really hoping that both characters would find the love they deserved.

Heartwarming
The story is well written. With twist and plot so eloquently woven. You can't help but follow the journey of Tina and William in finding Chrissie. A must read.

Oh, billy *sigh*
This book .. is definitely not your average romance novel. In the midst of all my studies for final exams -- somehow I came across this book (I know, priorities right?). At first I thought, "hmm, not my cup of tea" .. Well, I drank that cup of tea, enjoyed every drop & I did it in a matter of hours (less than 24hrs to be exact). Beautifully written with the right amount of twist & turns a heart needs when dealing with other stresses in life (exams).
Definitely a must read! Even if you shouldn't be 😉
