APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Warm your soul with this tale of Londoner Kate Sinclair starting again in Copenhagen and embracing the Danish way of life. Julie Caplin kept us spellbound as she shares the secrets of hygge (think cosy candlelit nights in and excellent knitwear) through vivid and detailed prose about the city. In no time we too fell for Kate’s new home as she heals her broken heart and embarks upon a new career. When you’ve finished indulging in The Little Café in Copenhagen you can discover more happily-ever-afters from America and France in The Little Brooklyn Bakery and The Little Paris Patisserie.

Copenhagen cafe
Entertaining light romance. Kate is too busy working to make a personal life for herself, because of her zeal, she meets someone in spite of herself. A cast of colourful characters, great descriptions of Denmark.
Loved every second of it!
Loved reliving my trip to Copenhagen through this book- absolutely charming with a brilliant ensemble cast, I couldn’t put it down!
The Little Cafe in Copenhagen
This will definitely be more than one star. Just started reading as I’ve spent so much time in Copenhagen and all over Denmark in the past 17 years. I have one problem in Chapter 9 where the author writes the incorrect name of Danish Royal Palace in Copenhagen, a major mistake. It should be Amalienborg, I’m not even going to include the incorrect naming. Hopefully the author and publisher picks this up and correctly edits this. Other readers fascinated by Palaces may be led to making the mistake of visiting a completely different country.
A full five stars is well deserved, I almost read the rest of this book in one sitting. Copenhagen and the Danish hygge come to life, as do the brilliant development of each of the characters.
I will definitely be reading the rest in this series.
