The Mask of You

At some point he decided to save her from the burden of his love and inflict muffins on her instead. It's all about to backfire...

Lance
Bloody hell. My best friend just stole my little sister. And the best assistant in the world, who I've been unrequitedly lusting after since she started working for me, just informed me she's taking a new job hours away. The only silver lining I can see is that I won't have to keep reminding myself not to touch.

At least, until the guys of the IPDIESAC study group call me on the carpet for committing the worst offense possible in a romance novel. News to me I was living in one, but hey, now I've got hope and a whole new set of problems.

I'm done with Lance's muffin obsession. That's not why I'm leaving, but I'm not sorry to be going far away from his love-sick drama. Except… maybe he's been overacting? But I start my new job in Sala Bay next week so we'll see if he's even half-way serious about having feelings.

I've got my doubts he'll bother to come see me, but even if he does, maybe he should stay close to his support network for his mental health? Ugh. Why is nothing good ever easy?

Weapons-Grade Romance is all about the IPDIESAC Study Group. (Call it a romance book club and one of them will likely pop up unexpectedly to correct you!) The books can be read as stand-alone stories but if you want the context and history of the group The Origin of You will fill in the gaps.
