The Mount Annan Line

This book charts the early development of The Mount Annan Line - a HO scale model railway layout set in the Macarthur area of Sydney, Australia. This fictitious line begins at Campbelltown and travels through the suburbs of Mount Annan, Narellan, Oran Park and Leppington (with connections through to the new Western Sydney airport at Badgerys Creek. The line completes a much needed missing link in the Sydney Suburban Network, and provides both passenger services to the growing outer southwestern suburbs along with a freight path for goods traversing from the industries surrounding the new airport to other parts of the state.



The Mount Annan Line hosts an eclectic mix of NSWGR locomotives and rolling stock, from a range of eras in NSW railway history. You may spot anything from steam locomotive power through to more modern Sydney suburban electric passenger sets.
