Fantastic Journey
Set in the closing days of the solar system, and written in a bizarrely antiquated style, this is a tour de force of the imagination.
Given the time it was written, the science is all wrong... Apart from anything else, our knowledge of stellar evolution has come a long way since the beginning of the 20th century.
This doesn't detract from the quality of the storytelling, nor the enjoyment to be had from this tale. A must-read for any who enjoy weird fiction, and especially if you have read 'The House on the Borderland'.
