Publisher Description

She walked quietly into his office.
She came and stood before his desk, staring at him with appraising eyes. She was wearing a captivating fragrance that did its tricks on him. She was a beautiful young woman, with a lean face, a small nose, and anxious green eyes. Her hair was golden, cut short and hanging in a mushroom shape around her head. She was wearing pink lip gloss and had the kind of lips that made him think that she would be exciting to kiss, but let it end there without going further. She was of average height, standing about five-four. He had just decided that she had a good figure when she spoke.
‘I’m impressed. You look much better in person. I’ve seen pictures of you on TV; they don’t do you justice.’
Brook Kepley gazed at the young woman, stunned. She had a deep, powerful voice that commanded attention – which was a euphemistic way of saying that she had a masculine voice. It sliced through his balls and tore them into shreds.
He only just managed to speak. ‘Who are you?’
‘I’m Darlene Rockcliffe.’
‘Herman—.’
‘He’s my father,’ she interrupted impatiently. ‘I was here to see him, and on my way out I thought I’d stop by your office and give you this.’ She handed him a small gift-box wrapped in red paper. ‘Happy 28th, Brook Kepley.’
He stared at her in open surprise. ‘How did you know?’
‘I googled you, and learned that you were born today, February 17th,’ she said with a self-satisfied smile. ‘I couldn’t come empty-handed to meet the new man in town. Open it.’
He did as told. It was a Girard Perrégaux gold watch, with a diamond-encrusted band. He looked up from the watch at her green eyes. ‘Thank you. I truly don’t know what to say.’
She leaned down and placed her elbows on his desk. She eyed him with a provocative smile. He lowered his gaze from her eyes to her cleavage. He liked what he saw.
‘I always get what I want,’ she said in her deep, strong voice, again causing a tingling sensation to race down his spine. ‘I’ve decided I want you, Mr. Kepley. So, what’s it gonna be. Are we gonna fuck right here right now or is it gonna be some other place?’
