Grad student Claire St. John wants to be an archaeologist. Thanks to a childhood accident, Claire also sees ghosts that need her help to find peace. The two goals don't always mix. When Claire agrees to house-sit her professor's house for the summer and excavate the property's Indian mounds, she discovers more than pottery and arrowheads in the dirt. She and caretaker Sean Martin are haunted by a ghost in a picture who must use them to reveal a murderer. Pitted against a skeptical town sheriff, they are left alone to uncover the truth of what happened all those years ago before a killer buries the evidence and them with it forever.
