The Power of Todd (How I Became a Teenage Super-hero‪)‬

The saying goes that art imitates life, but what happens when your art comes to life… and some of it wants to kill you?

Todd Sutherland is a high school junior and aspiring artist who find himself caught up in the world of super heroes and villains after he and his friends rescue their classmate, Ilsa, from a mad scientist’s lab.

Soon enough, the teens begin to exhibit superhuman abilities of their own which they use to protect Ilsa from follow-up abduction attempts while they try to discover why she is so important to the villain.

Along the way, Todd and his friends learn that the hero biz isn’t all fun and fame as they make enemies of several villains and a few heroes as well while trying learn to use their new powers.

Todd’s ability to summon forth the things he draws in a magic book is both unique and dangerous since not everything he conjures is friendly, and some things don’t wait to be called upon.
