Mike and Beverly started out kind of rough. Mike discovered Beverly in a coffee shop -- and instinct had him follow her until he learned that she was pregnant and homeless, with nowhere to go in a blizzard. But the pair distrusted each other; Mike's effort at altruism only lasted one night. They discovered each other again, and started working on a relationship -- but Beverly had some strange quirks...
