The Brooks Books

“The Brooks Books” - It’s an entertaining and quick read, perfect for a summer weekend. We enjoyed learning about Blythe’s family history and the impact of the intergenerational trauma. We did notice some echoes of a book previously read - “We need to talk about Kevin” but this didn’t detract from the reading experience.

Great book. Heartbreaking.

Real good old page turner

Definitely reminded me very much of “There’s someting about Kevin”. A Mothers worst nightmare. I loved the very short chapters and change of time between present and Blythe’s past family history. I loved it.
