Officially the war in Laos did not exist - both North Vietnam and the USA denied they had troops there. A totally enthralling behind the scenes secret story of the duplicity of 3 successive US Administrations in the pursuit of their own agenda without any regard to the consequences wrought on a sacrificed nation. I am a former Army Officer who served in the 'American' war being executed in neighbouring Vietnam at the same time as Laos was being made inhabitable. I served with the Australian Combat Engineers. The Ravens is an incredible story which should be compulsory reading at all Military Academies and students of Political Science. The war cannot be finished here in Laos until the mines are removed. War criminals? God help America!
