The Recruit
A.I. personality research was banned – for a reason!
Galactic navy recruit, Bache Loftt is on his final exercise after two years of study at the galaxy’s Naval Officer Training Academy.
What starts as a routine end of course starship flight out to the edge of charted space, quickly becomes a fight for survival and an unplanned journey into a dangerous corner of the Milky Way.
Disaster follows misfortune, in this tale of corrupt ancient technology, betrayal and ingrained distrust. With a resolution that seems frustratingly just out of reach.
Follow Bache and company as they endeavour to save a remote and resolutely independent human community from a genocidal artificial intelligence, its prime objective to rid the galaxy of all sentient biological life.

A Prequel to the Fold Series
Android sex bots try to take over the galaxy…
Screw around with one and you are dead and your shell body taken over… Sort of futuristic AIDS… Driven by Nanos that take over and drain out the smelly useless rubbish inside your body.. to replace it with sanitary electronics wrapped up in your biological meat package..
Like nearly all Apple books it suffers from typos of misspelled words, punctuation, wrong words such as in this book the subject being spoken to had their name used instead of the speaker’s name… Androids instead of Android’s body… near the end of the book…
Author writes about AI and such but it is obvious that no human proofreaders are involved with publication any more… this is across all the books I have purchased from Apple… {:~(
