Masterful
This novel is so brilliantly balanced between families managing the present with the backdrop of a mysterious past. Those who know the truth are afraid or unwilling to reveal it. They have their reasons, and Liz Fenwick uses the glorious Cornish environment juxtaposed against the similar coastal scenery of her American hero's home, to weave a masterful story of so many personal journeys, of love and loss, tragedy and joy.
It is a complex story, but so worth persisting with as each page of the past is turned by future generations whose lives are changed entirely as the truth is revealed.
Very enjoyable!
