About the Author
Born and raised in Kenosha, WI. Educational background: Mary D. Bradford High School, Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Marketing from Gateway Technical College, Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Master's in Liberal Studies Degree from UW-Milwaukee. I’m also a U.S. Air Force veteran. <p>Organizational memberships: actively involved with St John's Lutheran Church as an usher, lector chairperson and church historian, volunteer at the Kenosha Public Museum as a greeter and tour guide, treasurer of the Kenosha County Archaeological Society, Friends of the Library Board member, cast member of RG Audio Productions (perform old time radio scripts on stage), cast member of Voices and Verses (entertainment troupe), an independent TV Producer with local cable access channel 14, and I usher at the Rhode Center for the Arts.<p>As a civic-minded citizen, I think that we should all try to give something back to our communities. One of my main interests is in people. I enjoy being involved and helping whenever and wherever I can. My motto is that you will never outgrow your need for people and knowledge. Life itself is a lifelong learning process. When we stop learning, we stop living. I retired from active employment, not from active enjoyment.
