Amazing Magic Battles Demons Fae’s
After the first book I was hooked & brought the rest.
Worth the $$$ had me guessing right to the end. Normally I’m great @ knowing how things will turn out but in this story had guessing to the end.
And all the guessing I did was oh so wrong.... 🤗🤓
Great conclusion
This fantasy/paranormal series is one I have no hesitation in recommending and that is saying something as this is not a genre I would normally read. This is the fifth and final book in the series and if you have not read the other four books I would suggest you stop and do so as this series needs to be read in order to maximize the reading experience.
I have been waiting for the conclusion to the Chronicles of the Stone Veil and now it’s finally here I could not wait to see how Ms.Bennett was going to conclude this journey. From the first chapter I was on the edge of my seat, heart pumping with some fear hoping that all would end as I hoped.
There were so many things up in the air during this book but Ms.Bennett drew this series to a close with a conclusion that tied up all the loose ends and gave us the answers and the ending we were hoping for. This story was everything I was expecting and so much more.
The twists and turns continued and my enjoyment of this series has built throughout the books and the growth and transformation of both Finley and Carrick was heart warming. This was an emotional roller coaster of a read that I couldn’t put down.
Wonderful conclusion
This is the 5th and final book in the Chronicles of the Stone Veil and it’s the perfect conclusion to this wonderful series, if I’m totally honest this is not a genre I’m drawn to but this series captivated me as I fell in love with the characters and their journey. I also have to say please make sure you read the previous books before picking this one up.
It’s finally time for Finley to play her part in the prophecy and stop Kymaris, queen of the underworld bringing down the veil between earth and the dark side. Problem is she needs her twin Zora by her side and that means Carrick needs to visit the underworld and bring her back to earth and that also means leaving Finley without his protection.The whole Scooby Gang need to come together to bring Kymaris down and if they succeed will Finley and Carrick’s finally find their forever......
I’m so sad to see this series end but this book was just perfect, as always this last instalment has lots of twists and turns and I found myself saying “ Nooo” out loud and I found myself holding my breath and hoping this wasn’t the end for a couple I fell hard and fast for. I highly recommend this series to all romance lovers, even the ones like me that don’t normally read this genre.
