Robert Johnson by Numbers
This book analyses the songs of Robert Johnson in the context of the times. More of an academic report than an interesting story. If you play guitar there are different turnings explained. Overall I found it difficult to understand where the author was coming from, a lot of prolix (nothing a pair of scissors can't fix)! If you love Robert Johnson and have to read every book about him, then go ahead. If you just want an interesting story about a great bluesman then this is not the book for you.
