Publisher Description
The Fever burned hot and bright across a world unprepared for the devastation the virus would bring. Silence dominated the shattered wasteland left behind. Cell phones no longer worked. Static hissed from the old radio. No ships sailed through the nearby inlet. No airliners carved white trails across the sky overhead.
Stranded on a lonely barrier island, William Hill struggled to make it through a brutal winter. The days of easy food from the ocean vanished when the cold set in. Day by day, week by week, he watched those around him grow weaker and thinner.
The sense of isolation grew until it felt like the world had died and left the little band of castaways as the only living souls to bear witness to its passing. Even the island seemed empty and barren.
The fish had disappeared, along with the ducks, and even the shorebirds. Everything had fled.
Everything except the demons.

AWESOME!
I can't wait for the next part of this story!
The Rock Exodus
I love the narrative premise and the intellectual supposition underpinning the story. However, this novel needed to be edited quite heavily. I don’t mind a long novel as I enjoy a good read. The Rock Exodus was too long and took too many forays into the long-winded inner thoughts of the narrator, and hence frequently became repetitive and detracted from the action, thus creating a sense of stasis and loss of narrative momentum. The characters were not well-rounded and many seemed to populate the narrative without a purpose. I would like to see less similes and perhaps more metaphors to create tension and succinct imagery. Instead of breaking up the action with a couple of pages of didactic thought, keep the action moving.
I am enjoying the series, but would like to see a tighter narrative with well-rounded characters.
The Rock
All those pages and a crappy end. Way too much waffle with no action like the others before that kept me wanting to read more. Waited for nothing.
