Entertaining
Kimberly Kincaid is relatively new author to me so I was was excited to read and review book one in this series. This is Xander Matthews and Tara Kingston story and it was an entertaining read. Although not a particularly long read, Ms. Kincaid managed to pack quite a bit into the story.
Xander was a bad boy, but now he’s a police recruit and when he is tasked with protecting a witness he finds himself dealing with Tara, a woman from his past. Together they need to find a killer before it is too late.
When danger rears it’s head it will be up to Xander to do what he has trained to do. The chemistry between Xander and Tara is intense and it was interesting to catch their relationship develop. Both have baggage that they need to deal with, will it bring them together or tear the apart?
