If I’m honest Fantasy/paranormal are not my go to genre but this series has taken over my life. I cant get enough of the Chronicles of the Stone Vail Series by Sawyer Bennett and Zora and Maddox’s journey is the perfect addition to this wonderful series. From the moment I picked this book up I was on the edge of my seat because when a woman who was once human but is now a god of life and a man who is a demi-god collide, sparks fly. They are opposites and they should not be together but the attraction they feel takes over and all logic goes out the window. So can their relationship work, you will need to one click to find that out. The Ruin of Gods is a captivating, entertaining read with twists and turns you don’t see coming. It will keep you on the edge of your seat as you watch this couple who should not work find love. There is something for everyone in this great read because this journey has the perfect mix of danger, passion, mystery and intrigue. I loved the characters and I love my visits to the Stone Vail World.

I’m not a huge fan of fantasy/paranormal but this series from Sawyer Bennett is out of this world one and despite my initial wariness, it quickly drew me in. What happens when a god and a demi-god come together? Zora used to be human but now is the God of Life and Maddox, a demi-god, well he is one of a kind; these two should not work but their attraction to one another cancels everything else out.
Their story is complicated and riveting. From the first chapter I was on the edge of my seat, my heart in my mouth as I read The Ruin of Gods. It is a well-balanced story with a combination of danger, intrigue and passion that ticked the boxes for me and was well written. You cannot help but be drawn not the story that Ms. Bennett weaves in the Chronicles of the Stone Veil universe.
Their chemistry is explosive and it was entertaining to watch the push and pull dynamic of their relationship as it developed. Who will win this battle of wills? One click and find out.
