The background…
Loved how this very well constructed, beautifully written and funny book created the missing background for some of the best characters in Slow Horses.
Not the best book in the series.
Great read after the first 200 pages. The scene setting was a bit drawn out I the earlier stages of the book.
Disappointing
Too many words to tell a very short story. Interesting to learn the back stories of some of the regular players in this series BUT…slow to get going, dragged out for far too long.
