Read it in one day
A fascinating insight into a tumultuous period in Australian politics. Documenting the trials and tribulations of one of our most successful premiers was a job that needed to be undertaken. Alexandra Smith has done a fine job in recording this story into a cohesive narrative. While I didn’t always understand the shifts in subject (from chapter to chapter), everything in the book is worthy of inclusion. I downloaded and read the book in a single day (in between flying interstate and attending a half day seminar with the NSW government).
