Publisher Description
The gripping new Jack Reacher thriller from the No.1 bestselling authors Lee Child and Andrew Child.
Chicago. 1992. A hospital patient wakes to find two strangers by his bed.
They show him a list of names and ask a simple but impossible question. Minutes later he falls to his death from his twelfth-floor window - a fall which generates some unexpected attention.
That attention comes from the Secretary of Defense, who calls for an inter-agency task force to investigate. Jack Reacher, recently demoted from Major, is assigned as the Army's representative. If he gets a result, great. If not, he's a convenient fall guy.
Reacher may be an exceptional military investigator, but office politics aren't what gets him up in the morning. As he races to identify a cold-blooded killer and uncover a secret that stretches back 23 years, he must navigate around his new partners.
Will Reacher bring the bad guys to justice the official way . . . or his way?

A good yarn
I’ve seen some scathing reviews of this book, that Lee did not hold the pen and it wasn’t up to the expected standard. It may be true it was not Lee’s style but then why should it be?
It had a good twist at the end. I do think the final analysis was a bit over complicated and drawn out.
All told, it was a good yarn.
Thanks a lot!!! Again!!!
Another rubbish set out Reacher novel.
Lee give it up having some else write your work.
Like the last Reacher novel this one is just as bad jumping from character to character.
Last count was half a page between changing story lines.
If you can’t go back to the original Reacher novels stop writing as you are destroying all that you first wrote.
The swapping story lines back and forth so quickly is harming what you first wrote.
I wrote this review 25% of the way through reading this latest Reacher novel
Nothing changed right till the end
Jumping all over the place
As I said in the last review
‘Sorry Lee please find the style you once had.’
Signed Disappointed AGAIN!!
Thoroughly enjoyed!
Another fabulous read
