Visually Strong, Beautifully Presented
This is one of the most well designed, beautifully presented textbooks that make complete use of the iBooks format. I am a teacher and coordinator at a school for children with autism, and I am always eager to find resources that maximise the visual engagement of our students. Students with autism are primarily visual learners, and it has always been a challenge to find suitable resources that are tailored to their visual processing strengths, while also being interactive and explicit with regards to the content to be presented. 'The Senses' achieves this through the visual use of big, high resolution graphics that expand and dissect in an intuitive, interactive manner to explain the scientific concepts within. I can see our classes getting a lot out of these texts in the future, and I am very eager to investigate future iBooks in the series.
Excellent High School Resource
This provides perfect explanations for living world sections of the Australian National Science Curriculum, while going into enough depth to be an introductory resource for the NSW stage 6 Biology Communication. Wonderfully pieced together.
Great multitouch textbook!
This textbook is full of interactive hands on tools that help students gain further understanding. The book is beautifully designed and is an excellent resource for teachers.
