Customer Reviews
An atmospheric psychological thriller
Does a killer’s blood run in the family?
The Serial Killer’s Girl is a slow burning suspenseful psychological thriller which I enjoyed. Stacey has done a great job of creating a tense and atmospheric tale which pulled me in and had me hooked from its opening which sets a chilling tone for whats to come.
The characters are well fleshed out and developed. I was intrigued by Lexi and how she handles the fact her father is a convicted serial killer. The narrative moves between Lexi and the killer. It is not often you get a killer’s point of view in these types of stories, so I love when it happens as it gives you insight into their twisted minds!
I enjoyed Stacey’s writing which I found to be very engaging, I loved the dark and sinister atmosphere, which works very well for the story and I thought it was well plotted and executed.
