A fun read

A fine tale, which pulls you along the streets Istanbul, Byzantium, and Constantinople at a rollicking pace. My only quibbles: a map should be provided to track the general locations, and perhaps a translation of the French. In addition, this e-version seems to skip and jump parts me thinks, and the story does not seem to be linear. On a personal note, I was constantly looking up further information of the references, people, positions and monuments. Amazing intertwining of history in a detective tale, set in a most beautiful and mysterious orient location. A great advertisement for Istanbul and Turkey.
