Publisher Description
For most women, working for a sexy soccer star would be a dream come true. All except single mom Felicity Shaw. She has no interest in playing personal assistant for a stubborn, injured playboy—no matter how nice his abs are. But with bills piling up and mouths to feed, she can’t say no to the job.
That’s when it gets interesting.
The last thing Scott Gillie wants or needs is a persistent and entirely too distracting PA while he’s recuperating in his small hometown. Unfortunately, it’s not up to him. Then Felicity and her son end up temporarily moving in—all thanks to his meddlesome grandmother. Now temptation is right across the hall and it’s driving Scott crazy.
His only option is to fight fire with fire.
He never expects Felicity to do the same.

Loved the characters and the plot
Kyra Jacobs is a new author to me but that is about to change after reading the very entertaining The Soccer Player and the Single Mom because I loved getting to know the sassy mum and the very grumpy player.
Scott Gillie is a professional soccer player who is trying to get over an injury, he has come home to his grandma’s to recuperate and hopefully return to the game he loves. Scott’s agent believes the only quick way back is to employ a PA to take care of mundane issues so he can rest his knee but Scott is adamant he wants no help from Felicity.
Felicity has recently lost a job she was relying on to set her and her son Tyler up in a new condo she has just signed the lease on so when the opportunity of a job with Scott comes up she jumps on it and is even prepared to put up with the grumpy soccer player if it means she gets the start she needs for her and Tyler.
Two people in close proximity leads to lots of feelings and emotions but this couple both have a lot of baggage they need to put behind them before they can move on. I loved the characters in this book the banter is funny and the one liners Tyler has are perfection. The chemistry was sizzling and Scott and Tyler’s relationship was everything you would want for your own child. This book captivated me and I really didn’t want it to end and what can I say about the epilogue apart from it was the perfect ending to a great read. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
