A summer without men
Being a man reading a verbal expanse about women, I felt like a voyeur. The story, at times, washed over me, but the dialogue and turn of phrase I found engaging. Well written and complex in human experience, I will enjoy pulling this novel apart in our newly established book club. Well worth reading.

Interesting but not what I was expecting and probably way out of my league, with lots of references to authors, philosophers and others I have no idea about!
